Delivery

WA Library Supplies proudly delivers Australia wide. Shipping charges vary from customer to customer depending on size of the parcel and location.

For Perth Metro – small consumable items are a flat rate fee of $15.00. For larger consumable items and furniture items a flat rate of between $44.00 and $66.00 will be charged on checkout.

For delivery costs outside of Perth Metro the website will calculate a delivery charge on checkout for some items. As the size and location of deliveries varies a lot, if the website cannot automatically calculate your shipping costs there will be an option for you to request a quote for freight on checkout. We will then check the dimensions of your order and location with our freight company and provide you a quote for shipping.

As freight calculations on different size and weight objects can get a little tricky, if you are concerned with the price calculated for freight you can contact us directly and we can look into the freight charges for you.

If you have your own freight account, WA Library Supplies will ship your delivery on your account.

Items in stock are shipped from our WA warehouse within 48 hours from your order confirmation.

In the event that orders are split due to backorders you will only be invoiced for one delivery charge.

Returns
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. However, we are happy for you to contact us to discuss and we will review this on a case-by-case basis. Were we do agree to provide credit for a change of mind a 10% re-stocking fee may apply. Please make sure all items returned for credit or refund are well packaged as damaged items cannot be refunded.

Where a credit note / store credit is issued to a customer for the return of items, WA Library Supplies does not automatically apply credit notes to outstanding or future invoices. It is the customer’s responsibility to advise WA Library Supplies to apply that credit and to which invoice to apply that credit note to. This is so that multiple purchases from one account holder do not have credits applied to incorrect budget areas.

You can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
  • is unsafe
  • is significantly different from the sample or description
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof or purchase – e.g. your receipt.

Any damages must be notified within three days of receiving goods.

Please contact us with any issues with any product and we will do our best to assist you.

Made-to-order goods (“Specials”) and non-stocked Items

Please note that cancellation of orders or changes to the specification for Made-to Order goods must be made within three days of placing the order.

Damaged goods and claims
If goods are delivered damaged, where damage has not been caused by the delivery process, WA Library Supplies must be notified in writing within three days of receipt of the goods, otherwise claims cannot be considered. Shortages also should be notified within three days.
