Usage Recommendation:

This scanner is recommended for Public Libraries where a wireless, untethered (non corded) scanner is required. For a corded version of this scanner see the Cipherlab 1504P 2D Scanner.

Note: This is a better scanner for use than a linear scanner when students are self-scanning as it has a broader scanning light and makes it easier for students to use.

 Laser Scanners are generally considered to be more superior in scanning performance compared to Linear Image scanners. Laser scanners are also able to read and support a variety of 2D symbologies. Examples of 2D symbologies are QR codes.
