Pilbara Bookcase Range – Sturdy School Library Shelving
These bookcases are ex-showroom stock – they come assembled – white 25mm Laminex – available until stock sold out.
Available in either a mobile lockable castor option or on a plinth.
Bookcases come with 3 fixed shelves per bay. The shelf depth is 300mm – this shelf depth is great for picture books or larger non-fiction or reference books. The depth of these shelves will also work well for displays of books in book boxes or tubs. Each shelf has a 350mm shelf clearance and is 840mm in length.
Novels can also be displayed on this shelf. When using these shelves for novels (or for any shelf that has a greater depth than 250mm) we recommend using an Acrylic Book Shelf Back Stop. This will prevent your books moving back too deep into the back of the shelf, saving you hours of having to move them forward all the time.
The bookcases are made from a 25mm thick Laminex melamine in white.
These bookcases meet all the library shelving safety recommendations from the Western Australia Department of Education.
