This scanner is able to read all the 1D barcodes that the 1500 scanner can read, along with 2D scanning of PDF417, MicroPDF, DataMatrix, QR code, Micro QR code, Aztec, Maxicode and can read coloured barcodes. The scanner can also read high density barcodes and barcodes shown on mobile phones.

Usage Recommendation:

Note: This is a better scanner for use than a linear scanner when students are self-scanning as it has a broader scanning light and makes it easier for students to use.
